The Bumper Bottle can be used in two ways:

One is by removing the screen filter and inserting loose tea or a tea bag into the empty bottle, then re-attaching the screen filter and then pour hot water into the bottle. After the tea has infused you drink directly from the bottle, the screen filter will prevent the tea or tea bag from rising.

Secondly you can put loose tea or a tea bag on top of the screen filter and gently pour hot water over the tea, then remove the screen filter and tea. This method however will result in only a light tea and will not be as strong as the more popular infusing method described previously above.
